Donna B. Wexler, Speech/Language Pathologist, received her Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and her Master’s Degree at The University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio.  She has an M.A. in Speech/Language Pathology and a minor in Psychology. Donna taught at Nova University, worked in the public schools, hospitals, and clinic settings, and has owned and operated her private practice for 21 years.

Donna has treated children with a variety of challenges including:

    • articulation disorders
    • developmental disabilities
    • voice disorders
    • autism spectrum disorders
    • hearing impairment
    • language/learning disabilities
    • cerebral palsy
    • attention deficit disorders (ADD)
    • dyspraxia

She currently specializes in communication strategies to develop Social Learning Groups in high functioning children and adults on the autism spectrum.

Donna has mentored with Michelle G. Winner, expert Speech Pathologist recognized worldwide for social thinking intervention through cognitive behavioral therapy.  She has contributed to the Parenting Special Needs online magazine, the Autism File Magazine, and has presented at several conferences and workshops on the topic of social communication and acceptance.

Donna is committed to working with the entire family including parents, caregivers, and siblings who accompany their children to therapy.  She has personal experience as the parent of a young adult with severe physical and developmental challenges.  It is her has been her life’s work to help herself and others to achieve acceptance of the family member who experiences challenges.  Donna believes that a multi-disciplinary approach is most effective in bringing about positive change to the child and their family.



Linda Schaffer, MA, CCC-SLP

Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Hofstra University in New York.

Linda began her career working with the adult geriatric population and treated a variety of patients with speech and language disorders including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, and dementia.

Prior to joining the staff of “Let’s Communicate!” in 2008, Linda worked in the public schools treating elementary aged students with disorders of speech and language. Additionally, Linda worked in several “autism cluster” classrooms delivering services.

Linda is a devoted dog lover and an active volunteer with Coastal Boxer Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boxers along the east coast of Florida. She resides in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband and children, and the family dogs.




Marla has worked at Let’s Communicate as the office manager since March 2004.  She has lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for the past 26 years, with her husband.  She also has two grown children and two cats. Without her presence, the office would not run as smoothly as it does.
